Hand-embroidered Hungarian "Matyo" ornament
This lovely hand-stitched ornament is a great little sample of the famous Hungarian style of folk embroidery called "Matyo". The typical Matyo rose floral motif is hand-embroidered in shiny rayon threads on a natural wool felt background. The ornament measures about 4.5 inches at the widest and tallest points and is backed with red felt and stuffed. There is a red grosgrain ribbon attached for hanging.
